Students repeatedly face moments when the first plan does not work, the result is not what they expected or the problem is not what they first thought it was.

Learning gives students an early place to practise
Useful today in school, those habits of judgement and adjustment can remain valuable far beyond it.

ExamHatch is not meant to make future decisions for students
Later in life the problems will be different: new environments, work, goals and choices that no study platform can solve for them.
The practical goal is to give students a place to practise this way of approaching problems while they are still learning how they learn.
